A. You should not give cow’s or buffalo’s milk to your 4-month-old baby, as it is too hard to digest and lacks essential nutrients like iron, which can lead to anemia. The best nutrition at this stage is breast milk or formula milk. You can introduce cow’s milk after 1 year of age as a small part of the diet, but it should be whole milk (not diluted) because dilution reduces its nutritional value. Buffalo’s milk is heavier and higher in fat, so if introducing, it should be given in moderation after 1 year. Until then, continue with breastfeeding or formula for proper growth and digestion.
