usually it is normal.
in breastfed babies it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk.
so feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
make changes in your diet as it might be a reaction to the food which you ate.
and if Child is formulafed baby then it is caused by iron supplements of formula.
so don't worry
but if your child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then please visit your pediatrician
