there is no one food which will induce mental growth. however it is the combination of the food groups. hence it is important to have a balanced diet and include all the food groups like whole grain , dals and pulses, milk and milk products, seasonal fruits and vegetables, nuts and oilseeds ,healthy fats like ghee, adequate water.
every child is different and has own pace of growth and development. if child is happy and active do not stress much

give normal home made food to the baby.
avoid giving packed foods.
give three big meals and two small meals to the baby.
include lots of green vegetables seasonal fruits nuts legumes pulses cereal milk milk products eggs chicken fish mutton soups salads into the diet.
