Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 10 m old girl3 years agoA. what for. ?. Breastfeeding is the best source of natural immunity and also all the natural vital antibodies to a newborn. Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . Only exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby.
To boost milk supply feeding mother can take more fluids ,water, and even take lactate tablets or shatavari .
No substitute for mother milk . No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp for immunity or bones is given without doctor advise till 6 months of age as it not needed.
