A. hi dear Baby teeth are very sensitive to decay (cavities) Cavities, are infectious and can spread – and can even cause infections in the adult teeth growing beneath them. Compared to adult teeth, baby teeth are more susceptible to decay because they have a thinner layer of enamel, the hard outer surface of the teeth.
