#AskTheExpert this is for me as I have stopped breast feeding a day earlier dere is heavy pain in my breasts..wht shall I do

A. you can take paracetamol tablet and apply ice over your breast slowly it will stop lactating and further if you are concerned you can take guidance from your doctor to get proper suggestions about it which you can follow accordingly it will be better for details

Q. Hello Doctor I had stopped breast feeding my 3 months old son in day time and started to give him formula milk (I breastfeed him in night 2 times) as I was not producing milk as much as required, this is what I thought. Can I again start my breast feed as I was doing it. Earlier it used to leak when I do not feed him on time but now a days I don’t feel heavy, so I stopped feeding him. It’s just 15-20 days since I’m doing this. Otherwise, I was exclusively breast feeding him.
