Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and exdpectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which shouldjo be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. You can give indirect steam to the child along with that you should also go ahead with giving nebulisation with a child that is going to help and reduction of the congestion and four for the medication I would suggest to talk to your doctor as well
