ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. creams have to be washed before breastfeeding which again dries the area and aggravates injury.
it is best to apply breastmilk to cracked nipple especially hind milk. it has great healing properties. don't wear bra until healed and let it air dry.
look for proper latch while feeding
