#asktheexpert sir my baby boy poking his both ear and nose..scratcing the behind of head while crying.what may be the reason?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal.
if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching sensation you can apply coconut oil over it.
do not use earbuds to clean the internal exar cavity.
external ear can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth.
treatment is given only if the child is crying with pain while itching.x
for pain you can give paracetamol
