One of the causes of stool in blood and bloody mucus in baby poop is an allergy to certain kinds of food. If your baby has recently begun consuming semi-solid food, he can develop an allergy to cow milk, milk powder, oats, barley or wheat. If your baby is being fed with supplements containing gluten as one of the ingredients, it could also lead to this condition. Barley malt is an essential ingredient of vitamin supplements which is known to contain gluten.
