A. Dear parent, do not wish your baby to be fat. It is not a good indicator for good health. As long as your baby is active, playful and achieving all growth milestones then it indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food.
