A. For your one-month-old baby with mucus in the throat, it's important to keep her comfortable and help her breathe more easily. You can use a humidifier in her room to moisten the air, which can help loosen the mucus. Gently use a saline nasal drop and a bulb syringe to clear her nasal passages. Ensure she's sleeping in a slightly elevated position, but always place her on her back to sleep for safety. If she's having difficulty feeding or breathing, or if the symptoms persist, contact her pediatrician for further guidance.
