Q.

#AskTheExpert pediatrician prescribed omnacortil syrup for common cold.. since it is steroid..I don't want to give for my 3 year old.. earlier another pediatrician told omnacortil is given if allergies is at high.. but my son is not having sneezing.. only wet nose during evening otherwise his nose is dry during day time.. yesterday night he wake up night and coughed two times and slept peacefully after that.. other wise he is ok.. today I went to doctor he prescribed omnacortil and dotcoff.. I gave him dotcoff.. but I am afraid to give omnacortil.. is it OK not to give that? if required can I give cetirizine instead of omnacortil?

A. u cn follow the doctor.. u may take homopathic medicine for the same... give steam inhalation use nasoclear saline nasal drops apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
