Q.

#AskTheExpert my son is suffering high fever (103 f) since night.. we gave him 5ml of meftal-p 2 hours back and now still temperature is showing 101 f.. can you please suggest doctor

A. dnt just. for any such concern always take help of a doctor and avoid self medication use any time as it can be harmful rather than benefit so take opinion from a near by doctor .

Q. My 8 year old daughter is having high fever and throat infection. Doctor prescribed meftal P if fever increased beyond 101 F. Her fever reached 102 F in evening. When she was taking meftal P she vommited immediately after consuming it along with other things she has eaten. so effectively all meftal P came out. We started leg/head sponging after that with which her fever reached around 100 F after 2 hours of continuously doing it. Can we again repeat meftal P or wait for 6 hours to complete. Also can we give paracetamol now for reduced fever.please suggest
