meeta agarwalMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, It's fairly common for your child to have green poop at some point. It's almost always harmless. It often just means that the stool passed through the intestines more quickly so that all of the normal bile (which is green) did not have time to be absorbed back into the body.
Probiotics, such as yogurt or kombucha, can help restore balance to your intestinal flora. Several other medications and supplements can also cause a breakdown in pigments that turns your stool green. One example is iron supplements.
