#AskTheExpert My son is 5months old and is on mother feed only. Shall we start giving him cerelac and if I have to start giving him formula milk which one should I give to him?

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hai good afternoon !! Untill 5 completed months exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested for babies.
Start semi solids once a day from 6 month onwards and rest of the day milk either breastfeed or formula feed.
Yes if you have low breastmilk supply then you can introduce formula milk,ask Paeditrician suggestion.
But breastmilk is suggested until 2 years, include milk and diary products,rusk, roasted bread, papaya,chikoo, bottle gourd, Poppy seeds, garlic kheema, garlic milk in regular diet for increasing milk supply.
