#AskTheExpert my son is 2.8 years old .stool is very hard not easy passed and several constipation and not eating food only drink milk in night.

A. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water ands fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child. You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain. Constipadtion usually decreases with increasing age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief.
