#AskTheExpert my son have fever 99+ with sore throat and he is not playing like before. we gave him febrex plus 3 time in day. is it ok or we need to go to the hospital?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly continue the medicine given by your doctor and take a follow up afterd few days of starting medicine.
follow up is also required because the doctor will tell you whether you have to continue the same medicines or there will be changedd in the medicines .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. It is normal for the fever to come and go throughout the day and night. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. and cannot be treated with antibiotics. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
