#asktheexpert My son has the habit of biting his teeth while he is asleep in the midnight. Pls tell reason why is he doing so and pls tell a remedy to prevent him from biting his teeth.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. definitely it will cause problems in the tooth eruption phase as well as it may cause infection if it is dirty nails and sometimes the nails can cause injury to the oral mucosa so better to avoid this problem in the future

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. there are multiple causes and sometimes it can occur due to a habit and sometimes it can occur due to tooth caries and sometimes it may occur due to worms also so better to meet your doctor for proper diagnosis
