A. hii..Foods that cause the baby to be constipated include bananas, rice, cereal, cheese and carrots which may be nutritious, but lack fibre. The protein component in the Formula milk can cause constipation in your baby and sometimes changing the brand for one with different ingredient composition might help the situation. Inactivity is another cause of constipation. Physical activities help the digestion process in the child and keep away any digestion problems like constipation. Give fruits which start with P....prunes, papaya, pears etc...they wash out little tummies easily. Apply castor oil on navel of baby Always give baby one fruit a day to avoid constipation. Give overnight soaked munakka black raisins with its water.
