#AskTheExpert My kid is 5 years 3 months old. His weight is not increasing from 19 kg from last one year. He is having proper diet. 2 chapati ,rice dal and sabzi n curd. morning breakfast is milk with pediasure cheela or egg and bread. Evening mangoshake or banana shake. or sometime milk n sandwich. Night he have 2 chapati with sabzi. And if required then again milk at night. Pls suggest I m quite worried

A. Hello good afternoon !!! No need to worry about weight if baby is active. Include dry fruits and nuts as evening snack, dry fruits milk shake,ghee, cheese,butter while preparing roti, include paneer recipes, idly. Banana,mango, potato, beans, Dal, ghee, cheese, butter, curd, paneer,urad dal, chanadal,dry fruits and nuts, egg,meat helps in increasing weight.
