Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily.
Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion.
Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough.
It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation

Call a doctor or seek medical care if a baby has a fever and one of the following: The baby is inconsolable, lethargic, or seems very sick. A fever lasts longer than 24 hours in a baby younger than 2 years old without other symptoms. The fever rises above 104°F (40°C).
