#asktheexpert my doctor said my baby is having murmur sound in heart after he checked using stethoscope. it might be a hole in heart he mentioned. he asked to use nasoclear drops for next 1 month. asked for checkup in the next month. will nasoclear drops solve the problem? I am worried about it. what if there is hole in heart in the next month scan? I am worried on it. please help me

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 3 months old now murmur is due to abnormal blood flow through the heart either due to hole or some conditions like low hemoglobin levels in blood.nose drops will definitely make no difference take a second opinion
