#AskTheExpert My daughter is of 2 yrs 10 months and having constipation issue. please provide solution. Also sometimes her mouth smells bad although I made her brush every day.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many cases where the most important causative factor is decrease intake of high fibre diet along with lesser fluid intake.
some food grlike junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition.
diet modification should be tried first followed by medications like lactulose milk of magnesia and PEG .
