#asktheexpert My daughter is 6 yrs old she have the problem of irregular and tight potty even she is having proper diet.

A. I know it is constipation nd she is taking proper diet still she is suffering from constipation..

A. Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Changes in diet has to be xmade Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasizng constipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.
