#AskTheExpert my daughter is 4 month old and I don't use diapers. how do I know that she has been fed well

A. Hello good afternoon !! Feed frequently every two hours or sometimes baby demands feed after peeing or pooping every hour. You can feed on demand also. Baby pees 7-10 times a day it's normal,you can count pee if baby is peeing normal (7-10 times)is fine, pooping 7-8 times a day , once a day or Once in 3-4 days also common in breastfeed babies,no need to worry. Check baby increasing weight 400-700gm per month and sleeping 14-18 hours a day. All these peeing Normal, sleeping adequate hours and increasing weight signifies baby having sufficient feed.

A. You can count on her urine i.e if she is urinating 12 or more times in 24 hrs that means she is being fed well.
