#AskTheExpert my daughter is 2years and 4 months now.. from yesterday she is suffering from fever. n m giving her crocin n montair lc kid. and still fever is not gone slightly running nose n cough too. what should I do?? please suggest mam

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatorgsy process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with mustered oil with infusion of garlic pod
please give indirect steam with steamer twice a day
