Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter is 2.2 yrs old, she is having fever for last 3 days now, also she had fever for last 25 days intermittently, we gave her paracetamol and azithromicine (as per doc advise) last time but this time we give only paracetamol for last 3 days. Doc is saying to continue that medicine only for 10days. What should we do now? Please advise if we need to change the doc, or how to proceed.

A. hi dear If your baby has a fever, in most instances it means they have probably picked up a cold or other viral infection. Although they are less common in infants, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, ear infections, or a more serious infection such as a blood bacterial infection or meningitis may be causing a fever.
