Q.
#asktheexpert my daughter(4 yrs old) has solidified wax in her ear. it dsent hurt or bother her inany way, but i am concerned. should it be removed?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Ear should be only cleaned superficially very gently by an ear bud when the baby is sleeping. Do not try to clean deep inside by yourself as it can cause injury so consult your doctor for tgyhat . if the wax is impacted you can use waxiklin ear drops one drop twice a day for 7 days in ear it will help .

as such no need to remove it because it helps to avoid dirt that goes inside ears.
but if there is excess wax built inside your child ears ,you may use Babyhug ear syringe or ask your pediatrician to prescribe needed drops for this.
