#AskTheExpert My child was constipated. As per prescription by doctor she is taking laxopeg. but she still fears for bowel movement and withholds stool. pls advice for a regular following of bowel movements.

A. it is common in this age . Constipation is common in children and to avoid this more of liquid and water along with fibrous green leafy vegetable and fruits should be given . Any laxative should be avoided in babies .
