#AskTheExpert my child is now 4 months old and he is having wet cough. Dr prescripted medicine for 5 days but on 10th day his cough is there now my question is how many days baby should gave medicine and nebulizer is safe for 4 months old baby

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. Nasal block or congestion is due to the common cold and flu mainly due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good morning it is definitely not the best option but at this moment you don't have much of a choice I would recommend you to follow the doctor's advice and give nebulisation and medicine to the baby
