#AskTheExpert My child is 3.5 months old, she is not pooping, it has been 8 days already. Can you suggest any potent laxative ? It is her normal routine now from 1 month, she doesn't poop for 8 days

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of ageBaby immunity and growth can be taken care of by giving a proper diet with all the nutrition required for proper growth of the child . vitaminfe C, zinc, iron and vitamin D has key role in this. Multivitamin syrup like syp full 365 can be given 5 ml twice a day for 1 to 2 months. Give all the vaccination required.
