#asktheexpert my child has high constipation problem what should be done to cure it?

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This is diet related constipation ,first of all restrict milk intake to bedtime only, switch to solid foods.
Offer kid papaya, seasonal vegetables soups, seasonal fruits.
Give proper toilet training,avoid usage of diaper.
May consult for luxuatives.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please give your baby prune juice on daily basis as it is very effective in constipation and also give baby more rich fibre food and also increase the liquid amount.
