#asktheexpert my catches cough and cold very often ,why? Is there any home remedy that works , currently I am zinc syrup as per doctor advice

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasjional flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor.
take a follow up in dfew days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification
