normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you havef to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and ydou will have to change the brand of formula milk.
