#AskTheExpert my baby tongue has turned into slightest black on color ..previously we used to give her formula milk which turned her tongue white in color..should we worry about dis?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. black tongue can be due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child and it should get cleaned with your clean finger.
if it is not decreasing in intensity a a after cleaning then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue.
it is advisable to get the child examine by the doctor.

Nihita mittalMom of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. good afternoon nothing to worry about in fact I would recommend that if you feel that there is any such problem I would recommend you to try to clean the tongue with the help of soft muslin cloth dipped in luke warm water
