#AskTheExpert my baby suffering from sardi from last 3 weeks plz suggest any option... medicine chalu he fir bhi koi fark nahi dikh raha...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done fvf and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given txo reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

If you want you can nebulise your child as well because nebulisation is going to help in reducing down congestion in chest and throat and nose of your child so that’s one thing that you can go ahead with and after that if you want you can also use nasal drops of any anti-allergicWrite Your Answer Here
