#AskTheExpert my baby's weight on born time is 2.9 kg now after completing 5 Month her weight is only 5.7 kg. what should i can do for weight gain she takes my feeding

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side it should double by 5 month of age

Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly and according to that babies weight is totally fine and you should not worry about it at all. Baby should be totally your mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby tell your baby turned six months old
