Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby's birth weight is 3.9kg,, after a week, she lost around half a kg due to my low milk supply,, after one n half month only she regained her birth weight,, now she is 4 months old and she is 5.9kg,, is this a correct weight gain??

A. hi dear Growth expectations: From birth to 3 months, you can expect your baby to grow 1/2 to 1 inch (about 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters) per month. They'll probably gain 5 to 7 ounces (about 140 to 200 grams) per week. Yup, that's why those newborn onesies don't last long.
