#AskTheExpert My baby report says ACHD small pda 1 mm with left to right shunt which is taken 12 hours after he is born. He is a full term baby and weighs 3 kgs. Does this automatically close with time or does it need any further process to close it. He is 6 days old and is doing fine now.

A. generally pda close itself, just wait n watch, do follow up 2 D Eco, to know the situation of pda.. get in touch with paedriatic cardiologist, he or she will guide you in more detail. take care.

A. Hello mom In such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it because your doctor can only advise you will after examining Baby checking babies reports. You should never give any sort of medication to your baby till it is not advised by doctors of First concerned with your
