Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is seven and half month old.. I have introduced foods in his diet like vegetable and fruit puree twice to thrice a day.. insted of gaining weight, he has lost a bit? please let me know what else I can introduce in his diet

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year.as your child is seven months old...try khichdi dalia oats etc with veggies and fruits etc.. give everything except cow milk and honey

A. For A beginning diet it is perfectly fine and slowly gradually start giving khichadi and porridge and all these things to the child because they are much more nutritive and instead of giving food purée that way just Give a little bit of raw fruit to the child by grating it or something I think that would be a better choice
