#AskTheExpert My baby is one month old and he has his nose block since birth. I am using nasal drop but no relief. Please guide how to get him relieve from his cold and how long will that take.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes that's cold. Cold and cough is a seasonal manifestation of viral common cold mostly and it s very common . Best to give steam and also protect baby with wollens . Take flu vaccine yearly for protection from flu . See a doctor if fever

Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Nasal drop like nasovion for block . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .
