#AskTheExpert my baby is having fever about 100-101 degrees since yesterday Evening I have given her paracetamol twice yesterday

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or dmore is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normadl temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Bacterial Infections Symptoms persist longer than the expected 10-14 days a virus tends to last. Fever is higher than one might typically expect from a virus. Fever gets worse a few days into the illness rather than improving.
