#AskTheExpert My baby is almost 6 months now but she is not at all comfortable with strangers outside.she cries like she gotten hurt when somebody picks her up and try to play with her.But she is ok with her room and home why?? please help me

A. Fear of strangers: babies and young children. Fear of strangers is common. It often happens as part of development around 8 months and usually passes by 2 years. You can help children feel comfortable around strangers by being patient and introducing new people gradually.
