Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 8 months and he is pooping every alternate days. he is on solids twice a day and taking iron drops daily. poop is thick and dark but no symptom of pain while passing stool. when can I expect him to poop daily

A. Expect at least 3 bowel movements per day, but may be up to 4-12 for some babies. After this, baby may only poop every few days.
