#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 month old, she has anal fissure, doctor prescribed lactulose3.5ml twice daily for soft stools, yesterday she passed soft stools but today she passed watery stool, what should I do now? shall I give lactulose only a time in a day, if I stop giving her syrup what if she again start passing hard stools which is not good for anal fissures please help me with your answer.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. you can decrease the dosage of constipation medicine given by the doctor according to the need of the child that is you can decrease by 50% and then give daily to the child
