#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 month old, she has anal fissure, doctor prescribed lactulose3.5ml twice daily for soft stools, yesterday she passed soft stools but today she passed watery stool, what should I do now? shall I give lactulose only a time in a day, if I stop giving her syrup what if she again start passing hard stools which is not good for anal fissures please help me with your answer.

A. you can decrease the dosage of constipation medicine given by the doctor according to the need of the child that is you can decrease by 50% and then give daily to the child
