#asktheexpert My baby is 6 months old now and has been exclusively on bf till now. Is it advisable to introduce formula now or shall I continue with bf along with introduction of semi solids? If i should start formula what should be the quantity and frequency per day?

A. Hello mom If you are getting sufficient milk for your baby then there is no need to start giving formula milk. You should continue with breastfeeding. And now you baby is six months old so you can also start giving solids and water to your baby. Baby should take at least four meals in a day so maintain a diet chart according to that.
