my baby is 5 months old and is having 101.8 fever from yesterday at 8 pm I gave him calpol drops and after that I have given him in 4 hours interval but the fever is not coming down and in 3 hours only he is having fever I have shown him to the doctor he has told to give calpol drops in four hours interval but it has shown that we should not give paracetamol more than 4 time in 24 hours but now it has been 5 time from yesterday that I have given him calpol drops

A. Yes you’re right it is given with every six hours gap but if your doctor is suggesting you then you continue with your doctor suggestion because they obviously have a fair idea about how do you need to deal with the situation so continue with that and also do cold sponging that helps a lot in breaking down the temperature
