Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 22monhs old and suffering from cold and cough we already consulted doctor but no use .please suggest good medication or can we go for nebulizer at home .please tell me to use nebulizer and how to use nebulizer

A. you can give nebulization with ns bottle that is normal saline water. this will help in decreasing both dry cough as well as will help in decreasing the mucus present in the throat of the child. but other nebulization medicines (asthalin, duolin, budecort etc) can be given to your child is decided by the doctor. so your doctor will decide after examinationx whether your child needs a nebulization with these medicines or not thus the maximum nebulization that you can give to the child without medical consultation is with normal saline it is totally safex and it is not addictive

A. Yes you can get an nebulising machine from the market and you can nebulise the child with that it’s a very convenient thing to be done and you can use regular saline water to nebula a child literally helps a lot introducing down the congestion from nose chest and throat of your child
