#AskTheExpert my baby is 22 month old doctor suggest for speech therapy. should we go or not lil confused

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. if doctor said then uou go. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

But Why is your doctor advised to go for speech therapy because if a child does not speak properly up till the age of three years then you should go for speech therapy and that too also if your child is having some issue so taken advice from another doctor and then you decide you want to go ahead with it or not
